MSI  Assistance Document

The document of MSI is a software that Microsoft to install format, have the system of Windows Installer on your computer, Generally, Windows is already the inside the Windows Installer. But if you double click the MSI document installs appear the mistake, Explaining the Installer has damaged, you must arrive the download site, complete the Windows Installer system install.

Windows 98,Me:
instmsia.exe  [1.62M]  Windows Installer 2.0

Windows NT 4.0 , 2000:
instmsiw.exe  [1.73M]   Windows Installer 2.0

Windows NT 4.0 , 2000,XP,2003
WindowsInstaller-KB893803-x86.exe [2.53M]   Windows Installer 3.1

Attention:  The Windows XP gathers the Windows Installer 2.0, do not need to install again. But sometimes install in Windows XP the Windows Installer procedure will appear the mistake, generally:  Windows Installer Cannot Be Found.


Windows Installer not install appear.

1, download installer.reg here; Double click,include into the register editor.

2, Restart computer and press F8, until the menu appears, choose the safe mode, and press" Enter", entering the "safe mode".

3, "Start" menu, choice "run", keyin "cmb", and keyin "msiexec/ regserver" after hint, and return.
